In the Void...

Ji,

I’m starting a new chapter today...

A chapter shaped by responsibility, a chapter that speaks only in silence.

Your voice echoes in the void, wishing me luck and yet, somewhere deep inside, it tares me to piece.

I know I shouldn't worry, because you are always with me.
But in the silence I struggle, a silence I’m not ready for.

In your warmth, I’ve faced the world. Now, I will rise and stand against all odds.

No matter where life takes me, I promise I won’t let you down.

So... wish me luck not because I ask for it, but because I know it’s always there.....
guiding me, as I walk a path with no map.

I miss you so much baba... Stay well my love :x

With all the cling clangs of Merry Christmas, I never expected a big band of choir fooling me, making me stand still, pulsating ,trying to camouflage myself. When it was time to wish each other and ask for the day's plan, a friend called up and mentioned she was going to encourage a friend over lunch. One said, she had to make something special for her husband, and last but not the least had to spend her day at the church. The eldest of the gang had just returned from India, which made it obvious that she should be taking rest, getting herself out of the jet lag. So all were busy with something or the other. A Lesson Learned :)

Is it God's way of sending an ear to me or letting me sit with someone where I have to listen ? He has his own way of helping people solve problems. He moved my cheese and opened one door. Good that I was able to grab the opportunity. When I started from home, I was a little upset but my way back, She had changed the world for me. She was able to put a smile on my face and bring back life in me. I realized what I had lost few days back.  My son's school had organized a Volunteer Recognition Event and I was part of it. Mrs. Anderson's(The Principal) words were very touching. She said, "a little kindness given by us,contributed to the bigger Achievements today." Met another teacher(Grd. 4), whose room was known as "Helping Buddies" when my son was a Kinder. They helped kindergartners with their crafts. I was glad that she remembered him. wake up !!!

Many a times unexpectedly my son says few things which makes me realise that he is growing big. But when will our politicians and our citizens grow their social and interpersonal skills remains a question in itself. I want to raise a question to those who stick to the newspaper every now and then, that do you really get some ways and means where you can develop your country or you are just reading the articles to chit chat with your friends and collegues and post blogs on page 3? Few days back, I heard that if we need to accept the citizenship of another country , we need to fight in favor for that country all the time. People who were eager to change there status or citizenship, started discussing on how can they fight against their original country? Now i ask them, where were you when your country was really needing you? wake up lazy bums !!! reading articles and staying glued to the screen will never help in progress. Take steps and rebuilt the democracy of our country. Jai Bharat !
