Love or Marriage n Love ?

While setting the kitchen for tomorrow, I was moping and humming the title song from the movie Taare   Zameen Par. Subconsciously I was thinking of my relationship with my husband, ten years back, today was the day, when we vowed to be with each other for the rest of our life and got engaged. I kept the grocery in place, stacked the frozen entrees and the snacks for my kids in order so that they can reach safe. After all the chores when I was sitting comfortably with my iPad, I searched for some good words about "husband."
And to my surprise I came across this line,"love is the thing that enables a woman to sing while she mops of the floor after her husband has walked across it in his barn boots." Ahhh, with a breadth, I thought over it for sometime. Children come home after play time with messy clothes and the mother has to freshen them. Husband returns from work and opens his wardrobe to find his pair of trousers neatly kept. The lady returns home, to see that everything still remains in order else she sets them before going to bed to start a fresh new morning. It's ultimately, the woman of the family, who has to mop off everyone's mess.
Let the Almighty, give her the strength.
Amen!

Few steps, gave me a lot !

With all the hassles everyday , there comes a moment of quietness. May ones in a month or even in months together , comes a time when you need a break from all chaos and just sit in a lone place for sometime. You grab hold of that time and don't feel like letting it pass. To make it a cocktail you long for that one person with whom, silence becomes the best mode of conversation. And if you are alone, you enjoy the serene with speechless conversation which refreshes the cozy memories. The lifeless moment turns out to be full of life. If you are close to a beach, sand becomes scribbler and we pen down a love note and wait for the waves to erase it for us. If we are at a park, a curb side walk makes us talk to the trees as if each passing tree is the partner we had thought of. Ultimately the time ceases and we step into the present. With a wish for another chance, we preserve this moment.
I had a chance yesterday but neither at the beach nor at any park.... Amidst all noise, I was stepping alone from the lobby to my room and wished the road not to end ever !

ps
Amen!

Without you, my shadow is invisible !
