From a Promise to a Legacy ❤️

12.12.2002 … It all began with our wedding, a day filled with sacred vows, dreams, and the promise of forever.

Years later, those promises blossomed into a life rich with love, family, laughter, and countless memories. Every picture, every smile, and every milestone became part of our beautiful journey.

Then came the day, 07.08.2025, that changed everything.

With Shirdi Sai Baba's sacred vibhuti on your forehead, Lord Jagannath's tulsi garland around your neck, the blessed sindoor of Panchamukhi Hanuman, Strength gathered from  Mahavinayak & anything and everything a mother could ask for before Maa Kamakhya Devi, you were surrounded by prayers and divine blessings. You had promised me and our children that you would be brave, that you would fight, and that you would come back to us.

Yet, in those final moments, when your voice revealed what my heart was never ready to hear, time seemed to stand still. I still hold on to the promise you made, wondering how fate changed our story so suddenly.

Today, your portrait stands not as an end, but as a reminder of a life so deeply cherished. Though you are no longer physically with us, your love continues to live on in every memory, every lesson, and in our hearts.

Some stories end sooner than we ever imagined, but true love leaves behind chapters that time can never erase. Many dreams remain unfinished, yet every moment we shared, every smile, every sacrifice, and every memory will forever be my greatest treasure.

Your promises became our legacy. Your love became our strength. And your memories will remain the light that guides us every single day.

With all the cling clangs of Merry Christmas, I never expected a big band of choir fooling me, making me stand still, pulsating ,trying to camouflage myself. Back in the grind again… scared of the tasks ahead and overwhelmed by the weight of responsibilities. Last year, on this very day, we were holding onto each other, promising that no matter what life brought our way, we would never let go. We believed no hardship could break our strength, and together we would face every low and rise back into better days. When I look back at that moment, gently holding your feet, comforting you, silently promising myself that I would stand beside you, fight for you, and never let anything separate us for years to come, it hurts to realize that today, I no longer even have a reason to look forward to this date.
